My Corvette(s):
1980 Chrome Yellow,1991 Bright Red
Default Finally Got A C4

Well today it finally happened. I went to look at a 1991 red on red coupe with 65,000 miles on it and brought it home. I have been wanting a C4 vette for sometime ,but just havent been able to find the right one until today. The car is completely stock and has not been modified at all. Is there any modifications I should do to the car or should I leave it stock? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Congrats! There are a lot of mods you could do and there are a lot of people here can provide you info on them. For now, I'd just leave it stock and enjoy it for a while -- let the 'newness' wear off before worring too much about mods. Just my .02

I agree totally, mods will come with time. Might as well get her standing really tall. Put on the wax, and clean and treat the interior. I imagine your underhood area is fairly clean. However I like cleaning all over. Just enjoy for a while, then if you want, the little mods are no biggie. I find it very satisfying doing stuff to my car, whether people see the point or not.

Good luck

Craig

John, I have all my pic's on a server, so I can post any size I want on here. There are lots of places on the web you can upload photo's to host for free. I think CarDomain.com does this, but there are plenty of others that won't stick there logo on your pics.

I don't know if this site hosts any pics bigger than an avitar or not. I resized all the ones in my sig to be the same size, nothing fancy.

Leave it stock? Trust me, you'll start getting the urge to mod everything. And that just doesn't apply to cars. I mod everything I own; I figure that it comes from the factory pretty good but I just want some insurance that it'll be a little better.

Congrats, welcome to C4 Heaven. Like buying a house, you may want to “live” in it for a while before you start to change things. The 91 is a nice car, you gotta post some pics for us!
