Default I've got 6 wirings running to my starter?

Anyone have an idea as to what goes where? Any diagrams?

I know the huge black one goes to the center post.

Len,

I'm going to move this to C3 as the wiring, although very similar to C2, will likely be a bit different for your 1970.

Your car originally had four wires to the solenoid; the battery cable and a 12-ga. red wire (which has a molded splice to a brown wire further up the harness) on the big stud at the top, a 12-ga. purple wire to the small "S" terminal (energizes the starter), and a 20-ga. yellow wire to the small "R" terminal (feeds a full 12 volts to the coil + terminal only during cranking). There will also be a 14-ga. black wire with a large ring terminal on it in the vicinity - that's the ground wire for the heater blower and wiper motor, and it goes under the outboard starter motor attaching bolt.
