Just interested to see if you were to get another Vette, outside of the current generation you own, what would it be? No voting for what you have. :nono And those of you that own all 6... well good for you and go away.
Keep in mind that you still get to keep what you have, this is for an additional Vette... just not the same generation.
My Vote: I have a C3 (25th Anniversary Edition) and would love to get a 2003 (50th Anniversary Edition). So... C5 for me.

I'll take one 1963 split window coupe, please. Red, with black interior. I'd even go so far as to trade even up for my 1985! :L
I would take the C1 with the "All the Excessive Chrome" :D
Red with White Coves, Red interior, 4-speed Fuelie, Just for a nice Fall or cool evening cruise ;)

Looks like a lot more have voted than have written notes. It would be interesting to find who has what now and what they have choosen. I picked a C3, '73 BB in particular, mainly because I have a C2 and a C4 and continuity in my life is important ;)
I'll always have my eye out for the $5000 barn find C1!:D

Hey Blade... let's just swap cars every few months and save the cash! I'll be by on Saturday. :L
It would be interesting to find who has what now and what they have choosen.
I am interested as well. But the poll would have been too long to ask each generation which other generation they would chose. 6gens X 5choices=30... to long for the system to handle. I guess I could have put up six polls, one in each C1-C6 forum. :confused

Having a C3, I would love to have a brand new C6, I just love the look of that car, but then I also would love to have C2 so its hard to decide, but I voted for the C6.

That one stole my heart. Love the C4, and like the others; however, if it were only one it would be 67 roadster with all the power and options.

I've got a 77 now...and my next will be a C2. As of yet, I'm not sure whether it will be a coupe or vert, big or small block. (vert big block, but I'll take what I can afford).
I love the look of the flared fenders & sidepipes.

I got a C4 and C5. I got a C3 in project. A quagmire really because I'm staring at a C3 just painted but needs everything else and a 1968 GTO convertible I ain't started yet.
I don't like the Goat but it would be worth a few corvettes finished and a garage to put them in. And I would sell it off to get a C6 in a heartbeat.
Richard.
A chrome-bumper Shark for me! (I'd be torn between an LT1 or a big-block.) :v
I've always really liked the last of the C3s.... just something about all those curves ;) (quite a contrast from the long, sleek lines of the 96 I have now)

I'm just dying for a 65, 66 or 67 convertible........
Saw my first C6 tonight. Out of the corner of my eye. Nearly ran a guy and his poor dog over in the process. (I'll be more careful next time, promise.)
:upthumbs
I must echo what boomer said. love the curves of the C3. Great contrast to the '90 ZR1

Oh boy, what a dilema, trying to decide which generation...... but I guess for total performance and technology PRIOR to the C5, I would really like a 1993 ZR1, it had the 405 HP, and still retained the interior that I really liked, cramped space and all. The clamshell hood was a crowd pleaser when parked and raised, the LT5 engine was a piece of art.
For sheer looks, I like the 1968, when that body style hit the streets it really turned heads, and is probably still my favorite body style through the end of the chromed bumper years.

A Black C6 or a White c5 convertable, but if I could get another C4 I really want a 1996 Supernatural in black, and a grand sport in blue, lets see that is four more vettes, I guess with six vettes I could drive them every sunny day and never worry about putting to many miles on any one of them lol. Insurance might be a killer but it is a dream and we all can Dream, :D

I have owned most of them and all brand new but don`t know how to vote as there were not multiple choices. The list is a 61 FI, 62 FI, 63 FI Coupe, 68 L88 Coupe, 84 Z51 4+3, and a 86. What remains are the 62,68,84 and 86. I can best do this in reverse. What I wouldn`t own is a 97 to a 2005. :upthumbs

those , 63 & 64 are c2's
I'd take any midyear, although a 1963 split window fuelie and a '67 427 3X2, thank you. Gotta be coupes, though.
My one and only corvette is a 1971 LT-1.

This poll is giving y'all a good idea of why the C4 prices are going to be a really good bargain for awhile. The earlier ones will bottom out, if they haven't already, and start appreciating again in another ten years or so.

C2 for me!!!
Maybe a split window? Maybe a ´67 big big block? :D
It's difficult to say. I know that I would probably never own a C1 or C2. Nothing against them. I appreciate them for what they are, but they don't excite me as much as the C3 and later generations.
If I was to buy a C3, it would be a '69 big block with side exhaust, or possibly a '70 LT1.
I already own a C4, but I'll say that I'd love a '96 Grand Sport if I had the money.
For C5, definitely a 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition.
For C6, I'd be happy with a Z51 equipped coupe, and without any doubt in my mind, the 2006 Z06. ;)

I have owned a C4 (a red '91 Coupe), and currently own a C5. So I guess I have to discount both of them as voting choices.
Although I really like the lines of the later C3s ('80, '81 and '82), I find myself eager to see a new C6 convertible in person. So I voted C6.

Having a 93 Ruby ZR1 and a BB 67, I gotta say if someone took them away (right....when they pry my cold, dead fingers from around the steering wheel)
and told me to pick something else, I'd have to go for a 1970 LT1 coupe.
I would go for a Shark with a big block.:D

My choice: 65 365hp coupe to go with my 71 LT-1 and 92.
Other cars I'd like: ZR-1 and Z06.
I actually sat down the other night and gave serious thought to a Corvette Wish List, say if I had "Oprah" money, all bills paid, family and a few close friends taken care of and had tithed my 10-pct. The Vettes in my garage other than my current '93 LT1 would be as follows:
** '58 coupe Panama Yellow
** '63 split window coupe Silvery green
** '67 427 Yellow, Yalla, Yeller--long as it's yellow
** '71 Stingray droptop Midnight Blue/wht. or lt. grey top & interior
** '95 ZR1 Quasar Blue to match my '93 coupe or Millineum Yellow
** '03 Coupe Nassau Blue
** '06 ZO6 (converted to a droptop) and (after the General closes up the front bumper!!!) Whatever blue it comes in for that year!!!

Man, this is tough one!
It's too difficult for me not to include all outside factors that go into owning a car, let alone a vette. I voted C6.
Since I already have a C3 (thanks to everyone that said they like the lines on the 80-82...I agree! :upthumbs ), that means I can't have my '69 L71 Tri-power Mille Miglia Red w/ White soft top.
I'd really like a '57 completely redone with newer technology, but the reality of it is this... The C6 is just a damn fine sportscar. It's got everything I want: Power, Handling, Badass looks...and it's weatherproof! I can only imagine what it's like to have a vette that doesn't leak AND can be safely driven in snow. (Don't shoot me for that one...this is MY dream, OK?!?! :L) Basically, I'm gonna want a car that if need be, I can drive year round. I wouldn't feel comfortable getting stuck in a snow storm up here at the Great Lakes in anything less than a C5.
I was leaning C5 because of the price point now and in the next few years AND the mad upgrades you can do to them for cheap (re: supercharger). For under $30G or so, I could pick up a '98 vette w/ an LPE supercharger kit and have a (damn near) 200mph rocket. Uhhh...Hello?!?!? $30K...200mph...$30K....200mph... I can't give a big enough smile!
But then I got to thinking...hell, since price isn't a factor, put a supercharger (or TT's) on the C6! And that was that. C6 it is for me.
Well since I have a C3 & C4, I would have to go with a '63 split window coupe. So I voted C2.

I have a 78 PC. Given the chance, I would buy a C2 Coupe, any year, it doesn't matter - but it's gotta have a manual tranny.
I wouldn't go with a C 4-6 because real cars have carburators - no computers for me. I don't like cars that are smarter than I am!

I LOVE my 65 Roadster, and if I could get just one more I'd go for the C6. I know my wife would like me to have a new one. She waits until I am under my 65 and then casually walks into the garage and asks me if I want to sell that "thing" (gasp! the horror!) and get a new one. I could only have a new one as a second Vette because I enjoy getting greasy with the 65...(obviously, its more than a friendship!)

Boy, that is a tough question! I think my opinion changes from day to day. As of today, if I had the money to get whatever I wanted, the order would be:
1) C6 convertible
2) 1965 black convertible
3) C5 convertible
4) 1969 black convertible

I would like to someday own a 1962 Sateen Silver/Red interior. 3-speed, hardtop, with blackwall tires.
I remember it like it was yesterday and always will. I was eleven years old when I saw it!
It was my dad's new Corvette and it was December of 1961.

My "druthers" would be one from each generation... But I voted for the C4, 'cause I love the way the C4 fits around you and 'cause my dream car is the ZR-1. Unfortunately I can't drive a stick because of nerve damage in my back. Still, the '58 is a mind-blower........... Decisions, decisions!

Well met everyone,
This is the hardest decision that I have ever made.
For me it's between the C3 and the C4. I finally chaose the C4 as it's the first vette I ever drove (the reason I fell in love with the prestigous corvette).:cool
