I think you need mental help because the real color of a vette is "Torch Red".
Now Aqua is a neat color, but nothing screams like a red vette!

Hey Rain....it's me Kevin the Ibanez man who yearns for a Taylor. There is a guy not too far from me almost 70 years young who bought an '89 aqua w/blk leather-like seats(new), aqua carpet(new), new pioneer cd-player, logo on a felt dash-cover, logo on info-panel, soft-removeable canvas top(the ones Ecklers sells), acrylic-top. he paid $3500 3 years ago from a gal who bought it new when she was 50.
he said he would be selling it soon. i plan to own it, however I know a Ford parts-manager in Deland who also wants to sell me his old Cougar. $3000, special-edition, dark tan paint, brown leather. low 90,000's well kept. great car to hand down to my son. decisions...decisions

How about those Hurricanes? shesh! when will it let up?
Sounds like you need to go and get a signature loan for about 6 or 7 grand to me! haha
Buy em both and put the extra cash into any repairs they might need.
Too cool!

it's new carpet Rain, much darker than the aqua paint.
it looks good!
i live in a mobile-home, Charley hit a bit south of here (mount plymouth/sorrento) stayed at home...no prob. Orlando about 20 min. south of here got it worse. Frances..on the other hand, took my neighbors roof and many screened-rooms. my place started shaking on that sunday morning 11:00am and **** started flying. i was lucky...only my skirting got toasted. lost power 3 days (the next neighborhood has had no power for 2 weeks yesterday. Mount Plymouth is a golf-town and several folks put there cars on the fairways away from trees. i put the vette on the carport and guarded the front with my wifes van. the neighbors vinyl-siding almost toasted my Ford Probe. i'll have some pics up soon from Frances. and i would not wish an event like that on anyone. it was downright scary.
meanwhile...Guitar Center in Winter Park has my old '74 Fender Super Six Reverb amp for sale. i sold it about a year ago. they want $800.....i sold it to a Fender-guy for $400 last year, bought a little 2x12 Fender Ultimate Chorus. I miss my tubes , though.

I hear ya Kevin -
Buddy of mine here in town(who is also on this forum) has a motorhome and his vette.. no way to get em both out in the evacuation, so he stayed.
Wondered if you kept yours on site for the Hurricanes.
Glad nearly everything came out ok.

I bought my Fender Cyber-Twin for $800 and had NY Cases build an aligator skin (fake) anvil case for it. The Blues Deluxe amp ran me about 300$ if I remember right.
Always been a fender amp fan!
