Default {Callaway SuperNatural} Carbon covers look to be a "go", w/in>

Folks, I spoke w/ the good people at Callaway Cars last week and have a bit more info on the Carbon Fiber Fuel rail covers for the LT1 / LT4 powered SNAT's

It looks like they will be making a production run of these soon, a few minor details are still evolving however, I am excited by the prospects

There were apparently 3 different covers between the years 1992 - 1996 - that is one of those details...

Another, is to ensure the "weave" pattern is top notch

The word CALLAWAY will be applied to each cover and I am still hoping for them to be autographed by Reeves, then cleared - Many of our black covers were signed by Reeves when the cars were constructed, so this is very important, from an owners perspective

Look for more info on this soon -
...stay tuned

Shopeview, What version of the SNAT did you get done to the CE. Did you go with the 450? Did you have them upgrade the trans? Can you tell allot of difference? I thought about having them do my Pace car but I sold it. I just could not do it to a 7K mile car.
Best

My 94 has all the options including the SNAT 450. I had the Callaway flywheel and clutch put in but the 6 speed trans is stock. No need to upgrade it. An yes there is a definite power difference but I'm hoping they come up with more engine options.

I thought that maybe you had the 96 done that is why I ask about the trans. The 450 with trans upgrade is costly but at least it does come with a warranty. The need for power never ends does it. Are you running stock gears in your 94?

Yes, stock gears.....Can you fill me in on the trans upgrade? I have not heard about that option. Is it for automatic only?

Also when I was going to do mine I was going to go to the 44 rear. I had put allot of thought into it but for less money you can get a very modded C5 that is more stable, stiffer body, better handling car and allot faster. I guess sometimes I like to change cars and I am tired of losing my a$$. There is no recouping the $'s on mods. I guess that is why I am more down to earth on prices when looking. I don't get in a hurry when buying. There is always something else around the corner.

OK, mine is a 6 speed and Callaway said it was in great shape nothing needed to be done to it. Darn, I thought there was another option available.

On recouping $ for mods....I agree but I'll never sell my 94.
