Default Oil Pressure gauge

During operation should the oil pressuere gauge fluctuate up and down i.e. increase with acceleration decrease with deacceleration ?
Thanks, George

It's more a reflection of RPM - higher RPM, higher oil pressure. As the RPM drops, so will the oil pressure.

You should see some difference in pressure with RPM. Depending on the mileage on the motor, the differences may be greater between idle and cruise speeds. Also the oil temp will make a slight difference. Oil will "Thin out" some as it gets hot.

yes of course it will go up with RPM, and it gradually decreases as temperature increases
