Default PROMlems

I have just started doing some mods on my 85. Vortex Air Rammer, Magnaflow exhust, 160 thermostat. Its now time to change out my chip. I have decided to with Fast Chip based on what I have learned here. Here is my question. After struggling with the mass of wire harness, I got out the ECM. However the 85 ECM looks nothing like the books show. Which one is the PROM, where are the numbers and how will I get it out. Sorry I am so silly, just dont want to mess up

Thanks

I *think* the 85 is like the 86. Under the passenger dash is a large box, which you probably have gotten down. On one side of the box is a metal cover held down by two screws. Remove them and the MEMCAL (which is what you replace) is under there...
