Default Please Help me with spark plug wire routing

I feel like a dumbass. I made a diagram for the routing of spark plug wires and now I cant find it. I already took the wires off the car. I need to know which plug corresponds to which position on the cap.

Thanks

Craig

Okay I think I might have figured it out. I found the old piece that came off the original coil. It has the number of cylinders on it. Refresh my memory number 1 is the drivers side all the way in front.

Thanks again

Craig

Well I finished the tune up, wires, coil, plugs, cap and rotor and also a new oxygen sensor. I fired it up and she purred like a kitten. I cant believe I had that few minutes of panic. Oh well.

Thanks

I was going to redo the spark plug wires on my '89. Did you have a hard time routing them at the back of the engine? It looks like the clips holding the wires together will break when I remove the wires. Did you have a similar problem?

Thanks,
Dino

Dino,

On my previous change I broke a few clips. Those things get brittle. I routed them the best I could, and used some aftermarket clips to clean things up a bit. I actually like routing them myself, because It makes it look a little cleaner.

Good luck

Craig
