Default Well me and my b2k made it thru the hurricane!

Im on day 3 with no power. Definitely looking forward to a hot meal. I waited almost and hour and a half for some nasty chinese food yesterday but hey...what can you do.

The coolest thing though...the parking deck I put my b2k in was at a hospital. I went by to check on my car. There she was looking good, but then I thought I parked it a little higher...There was another red b2k in the parking deck!! Someone else had put their car in there. It was a red 87, and it was MINT. I dropped my business card on his/her windshield. We'll see if they call.

Hope everyone is doing well. Its gonna be a while before Im back online. Web service at work is shakey at best and obviously I can't post from home. Neither one of my cell phones are working. Have a good one!

Default Good Deal

Obviously the most impotant thing is human life surviving, the bonus is your toys, material things etc. making it unscathed.

Good news...the power trucks are working in my area. Hopefully we'll be powered by tomorrow.

Welcome to the club Josh.

I was out of power since Saturday and just got it back a few hours ago. Thanks to my generator, I had the Fridge, TV, Tivo, and some lights and fans to get me by. The cars were safely tucked away out of the storms reach. As of today, my house is back to normal.

Back when Hurricane Andrew hit in 1992, I was out of power for 17 days. After a few days of the heat (and lack of sleep) things got really bad.

Its been one bad year for storms in Florida.

Is Octobervettes still going to take place?

Good Luck Josh.

-Luigi

A dumb question, what do you want for a hot meal when you get your chance?
