Default LT1 hesitation when cold

My 95 LT1 has started doing something strange. When it's first started, it hesitates when you first hit the throttle. Sometimes enough to make it die. I noticed that as soon as the coolant temperature reaches about 135 it starts running great.

I cleaned the throttle body yesterday, but no real improvement.

Any idea what might be causing it. No check engine lights have ever come on.

Mark

Try replacing the cold start valve on the throttle body?
Maybe the Idle is not comming up in the morning and the engine is leaning out?

Hi, I have a 84 that had a very simular problem, my fix was to replace the Idle Air Control Valves, I said "Valves" because I have the famous "Crossfire" setup that is basically two throttle bodies. I am not sure if you car using this type of a valve, but it would be worth checking it out.
