My Corvette(s):
1961 Red/White Restored & sold. :(
Default C1 Tie rod clamps won't tighten

I have replaced my tie rod ends, tie rod clamps & tie rod tubes. I have tightened the clamps down as far as they will go and I can still turn the tubes by hand. I got all the parts at one vendor - Corvette World. Has anyone had a similar problem with this? I will eventually take the car for alignment but I want to get it there in one piece. Any suggestions appreciated.
