Replaceing Ignition keep

I purchased a GM key set giving a single key for the doors and ignition for my 1973 Corvette. I replaced the door locks with help and advice from this board, ( 11 inch needle nose pliers got them installed). I now need to replace the ignition cylinder, I looked in the 73 assembly manual that I had and couldn't find a reference to replacing the ignition key and cylinder. My 73 is has a 350 with an automatic transmission. Any info or website on replacing the cylinder would be greatly appreciated.

I found instructions on how to replace the ignition cylinder. There is someone - Jim Shea - whop appears to be quite knowledgeable on the corvette steering columns. If you need any help with this I highly recommend going to this site: http://www.corvettefaq.com and look under steering. Jim has several articles on all aspects of the steering column and associated parts.
