New Guy checking in

Hi, joined back in Feb. but haven't checked in that often. Belong to one of the other forums but things seem a little stale over there lately. Like to read ALL the posts to see what's going on and to pick up new info. Will help out when I can. Have owned my 79 for over 20 years and know it inside and out. Look forward to participating in future threads.

Mod = moderator. You can see the moderator of a forum by scrolling to the bottom of the forum (as in C3 General Discussion) to see who moderates it. Or, at the very bottom of the Forums Main page, there is a link to View Forum Leaders which will show you all the admins and mods.

PM = Private Message. It's a quick way to send a message to someone one the CAC. To do this, click on someone's screen name. Depending on where you are, you may be able to Send a Private Message right there. Or, you can view the profile page for that user. Scroll down to see the Contact Info on the right side. From there, you can Private Message them. Don't feel bad, it was months before I found about private messaging

I'll send you one to show you what its like.

If you have any questions, there is always the Help and Feedback section (like reading the manual, it is sometimes used only as a last resort

) I promise, nobody will laugh, because we've all had trouble figuring something out.

You'll notice who are moderators or administrators because it says as much just below their user name. The Introductions forum is specifically designed for "welcome aboard" messages but if you want to stay localized (ie: just on this section) that's okay too. We mods can move threads (that's what they call each of these independent topics) between forums.

The CAC also has a number of other resources and archives. Take a look at the opening forum page and there's a bar across the top with different titles. At your convenience, take a read through.

In the meantime, welcome to the CAC!
