Default What about the next generation Zo6?

Has anyone heard or read about the Next Generation Zo6? Specifications, available when , what is going to change?

I am debating between buying the ZO6 Commemorative or waiting to buy the next generation. Comments.

From what I've heard, look for more carbon fiber, a larger bulge in the hood, 480hp is a reality shooting for 500....it will be a fixed roof coupe just like the current Z06 model, but will have the C6 coupe's fastback design....target weight around 3000lbs.

Target weight is under 3000 lbs..

Figure drysump oiling system...

20 inch rims and tires...

6.3 liter 3 valve motor..producing 480 to500hp

I predict smaller production runs and higher pricing..??????

Should set the world on fire with its wide body styling and Ferrari enzo like performance

FWiw..I'd buy a 12 grand off sticker Z06 without the carbon fiber hood and stripe..or a preowned value packed Z06 and wait out the first two years of C6 Z06 insanity (market adjustment etc)

I am in agreement.

Get a 2003-04 new Z06 from a dealer and ENJOY THE RIDE now!

The new Z06's will have some body changes for sure and HP. But you'll have to wait and pay big $$$.

Hurry, I'm seeing the z06's at the dealers drying up now. I'd say in about a month, the new ones will be gone completely. GOOD deals right now.

Best of luck. See you on the Z06 road.

-Bill.

Own the C5 Z06 for a few years and then when the frenzy dies down a bit on the C6 Z06 grab one.

Have fun now and then again later when your ready to buy the C6 Z

Some have mentioned that next week some cool C6 Z06 info will leak out.
