40th Anniversary ZR1 armrests

Noticedsomething peculiar on my 40th anniv ZR1, passenger side armrest is ruby red, driver's side is black. Is this correct? If so, I assume it's because driver's side gets more use...black hudes wear?

Thats the way they were, GM claimed less glare with the black drivers arm rest, why they just didn't make them both black..who knows!

both doors are actually completely different... kind of nice for a change, considering that most cars are usually mirrored from side to side
