Just got my first vette. A 1993 with no owners manual. How do I set the right time on my clock? Also, anyone know where I could get an owners manual? Nothing on e-bay for this year. Can I order one from a chevy dealer?

Default Owners manuals

Congrats on joining the community, and you're in the right place for advice!

My 85 didn't have one, when I bought mine nearly 3 years ago. I spent $25 getting a copy from one of the name advertizers. I want to say ecklers or mid america or corvette central. You might also check barnes and noble. They should beable to get one.

I might also advise buying a shop manual, I know they can be pricey, but if you do your own work, it is good to have something to refer too. Your's may even be available on CD, give it look see. Haynes or Chiltons will work for many major items, but the GM Shop Manual will break everything down.

Congrats on the car!
You can order a manual from the dealer, but it's probably going to cost you, it'd be cheaper to get one from Eklers or such, as was said. A service manual is a great help. IMO, spend the extra $ and get the specific GM one, rather than the Haynes, etc. They have TONS more information...

This from my 96 Owner's Manual: Make sure the radio is off and press SET. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the down arrow until the correct hour appears. Press and hold the up arrow until the correct minute appears.
And welcome to the CAC Community.

On my 92, it doesn't matter if the radio is on or off - I press the "SET" button then press the "tune" button to reset the clock. The left side sets the hour and the right side sets the minutes. When I get it where I want it, I press the "SET" button again.

Thanks for all the help everybody! I got the clock set and I ordered an owners manual from a place called helminc.com. My local chevy dealer says that's where they order them from if needed. It's a great site for hard to find pubs.

I should have gotten it at eklers. Better price. Oh well. Live and learn.

Guess my 88 is different. With the radio off, press set, then press the seek or scan buttons to change the minutes and hours. Same thing on my other Chev cars.
