Foglights??
Okay here is my stupid question of the day. One of my foglights went out this week. How do you replace the bulb?

Fog Light replacement
Hope you have skinny fore-arms, because you have to get the car up so you can reach up and in from underneath.
Check your haynes, chiltons, or what have you pseudo shop manual, and it explains the particulars.

So there is a bulb as opposed to a whole lens, you just gotta get to it?

Joy Joy, Happy Happy..... I have large forearms so I can imagine the pain.... , I may have to use my son's skinny forearms, although I did see the trapdoor on the underside of the bumper.... so there is a ray of light....
Thanks for the info....

Took me a while to figure this out too !
Just take the one screw out holding the door in place and you can get inside from there to pop the bulb

Quick update.... got the bulb replaced by my mechanic who was putting on new front brake pads. I had that brake rattle that was driving me crazy and indicated that the pins needed to be replaced as did the rotors (bought the previous rotors from a corvette vender that runs ads on this and other vette forums. Those rotors were made in China and the quality suspect, but I digress), so he put on genuine GM parts..... oh and replaced the bulb... the mechanic indicated that even with the trapdoor its hard with some vettes to replace that stupid bulb, because of lack of clearance.... anyway, that is done and after the new rear tires are mounted in the morning, I will be ready to see you all at the Cruise In....

I NEVER in a million years invisioned doing something that SHOULD'VE BEEN a snap-of-the-fingers quick kinda task, could make me cuss so friggin much! I'm a woman with skinny arms too!!!! And yeah, Ken..., the 93s have a trapdoor, but you might as well be trying to work your arm through an 'S' pipe while looking in a mirror!!!! Maybe it works better for someone left handed. Hey, doesn't matter if you jack it up, put it on a lift--WHATEVER!!!! It's an aggravating thing to have to do. And while worming your way to the socket, let's not forget that $10+, fragile bulb you're trying NOT TO POP or BEND IT'S LITTLE CONNECTING WIRES. Oh, and don't get too frustrated that you pull on the socket too hard and yank loose a wire. Gracious!!! Whew! Felt good to get that out!
Well, yeah..., I finally got it in there---left handed while lying on my back with my eyes closed and a penlight in my mouth-gagging.
Happy Vette-ing!!!

Hey Ken, thanks---ok..., it's funny NOW. And don't ask me why I had my eyes closed with a pen light in my mouth. It didn't start out that way, but then I had to go Zen on the darn thing!!!!

When we look back it's never as bad as it seemed at the time. But, some of those times...

My mechanic indicated that he cuts a notch in that area to increase the clearance so that the next time replacement of that stupid bulb wont be so difficult..... I did attempt to replace the bulb myself prior to taking it to the shop, but found even with the trapdoor open, my fingers were not going to get in there much less my forearm without messing up that fragile bulb..... that's my story, I am stickin to it....
