Default Help! Electrical!!!

My car has been down for over 2 months! I need some new ideas. In my previous thread I explain what happened. I have a new ECM, New chip, new module, new spark plug wires and I still get code 51 and the car stays in limp mode. I have tried 3 different chips and 5 different ECM's. What am I missing. The car ran perfect until a spark plug wire caught on fire from touching the exhaust manifold. It must have short out the original ecm and chip. Does anyone have any ideas?? I have taken every connection from the ecm to the motor apart and cleaned them and reconnected. Is there fuseable links somewhere???
Please advise.

Thanks
Bill

i've never heard of a spark plug wire causing an ecm to go bad, burning out a spark plug wire would only cause a skip in the engine from a plug not firing...thats it ...as far as i can find in haynes repair manual ...code 51 is the PROM unit circuit Probable cause states "faulty programmed read only memory(PROM) or improper PROM installation.make sure that the PROM or MEM-CAL is properly in the ECM.replace the PROM or MEM-CAL."

good luck ...bill
