Go to www.grandsportregistry.com. What exactly are you looking for? Most mechanical parts are interchangable with any other '96 C4/LT4. Specific are, of course, the paint scheme and emblems.

You can check out e-bay, some good deals occasionally. Try www.wheelskin.com, they sell the GS rotors for $285. I've never priced them, but thats alot less then going to the dealers.
Go to www.grandsportregistry.com/forum and register. Ton of GS folks on this site and you can just about get any questions answered

Nothing anymore. It use to be the GS rotors had the hubs painted black. But now that is the only way to get them from GM.

On the "Internet"?
For factory GM stuff, if you know the GM part number, try gmpartsdirect.com. Great prices on all things GM.
For aftermarket stuff, I use Mid America and Ecklers and a couple of other places. Mid America is a sponsor of this site, so give them a shot first.

Check with Fichtner Chevrolet. Bob Wendorff is the parts manager there, makes great deals on Vette parts. GS calipers are part numbers 12528689 and 12528690, GM list is $246.24 each but Bob priced them to me through corvetteforum.com for $147.74 each. Call 406-628-4121 or email parts@FichtnerChevrolet.com.

All 96 vettes came with big brakes.
The Collector Edition has the same brakes as the Grand Sport.
So really there is nothing special about these brakes.
You can buy them just about anywhere.
There is a guy who works at a Superior Chevrolet dealership somewhere. Go onto Corvette Forum and ask. I think the guys name is Chris. He gives the CF folks some really good deals.

I could be mistaken, but I think that's wrong. The GS option included a number of other options, one of which was the J55 heavy duty brake option, that were not standard on all 96's. Without the J55 option, not only were the calipers different but also the mounting brackets and disks. At least that's what the parts manager at Fichtner Chevrolet told me when I called to order my calipers.

According to the Black Book, all 1995 Vettes were equipped with the big brakes previously used only on the Z07 and ZR1. The big brakes became the standard brakes in 1995 and carried on in 1996.
You can see this in the Mid America catalog also. They list the HD brake rotor as fitting the 88-96 while the 'standard' rotor fits only the 88-94. The HD rotor became the stock rotor in 95.
The big difference in brakes in 96 seems to be whether you got the GS style calipers or the standard ones. They all used 13" rotors.

As I understand it, all 1996 vette mount big brakes with the same capabilities. But the GS and CE brakes were slightly different... essentually, the differences are cosmetic.
The GS/CE brake rotors have a different color and are coated so that they don't rust so easily (because you can see the rotor through the 5 spoke wheels that come on these models, but can't on the regular models with the sawblade wheels).
The GS/CE calipers say 'Corvette' on them in big letters and are a slightly different shape, but are essentually identical.
As far as I know, the brake parts are interchangable between the CE/GS and regular vettes. You just wouldn't want to for cosmetic reasons is all.

Thank for all the help. I am looking for a cosmetic change. My ZR1 wheels
would look a lot better with the GS calipers, drilled and slotted rotors.

Be careful which drilled rotors you put on. The ones that are drilled afterwards simply weaken the rotor. I have seen these crack (at the drilled hole) at race tracks.
The drilled rotors you see on serious race machinery are VERY expensive.
