spark plugs: is there a difference?

Whats the general concensus.
Is one brand considerably better than another?:confused

I'm running Bosch +4's on mine, and they work good. The only concern I've heard is that if you road race, and the plugs are under high tempurature for long periods, the tips could come off. I've not heard of this acually happening, but it is a concern with them.

What I am going to try next is NGK Iridium's. I have been given the thumbs up on these for all types of driving.
