Rear Window Blind

I just got my vette and have been unable to find information on the rear window blind. I'm not sure if that's even the correct name. It's the roll out blind thing between the rear speakers. It appears that the previous owner pulled it out too far and now it does not want to return. Any help I can get on this would highly be appreciated.

I would try to remove it and see whats wrong with it.
You can find them sometimes on E-bay. I know that the corvette salvage yards sell them.

The problem is that I can not figure out how it comes out. When you remove the rug there is a metal plate right behind it that I've yet to figure out how to remove it. I have not been able to find any info period on it . The funny thing about it is that I went to a VO TECH school and something like this is kicking my butt . I'll check with the salvage yards that specialize in corvettes. Thanks for the tip! The local salvage yards have looked at me like I'm nuts!
