Default herky jerky

I have a 64 with a 350/4spd/holley 600 and when I deaccelerate I get kind of a jerky response when I let off the gas . . this is mostly when it is hot, doesnt happen every time, I think its carburetor related. Any ideas?

I check point dwell, basic ignition timming, vacumm and mechanical advance function before messing with the carb.
