Default Gauge Lights do not work

The lights that light up the gauges on my 75 do not work. The gauges work fine and everything else eletrical works too. All of the fuses are intact and the bulbs are still good. anybody know how to fix this.
thanks

When this happens on my 82 it is the large connector on the back of the center console gauges. Did you loose all of them, center console, or the ones behind the ones behind the wheel?

My dash and console lights have been out for some time. I've not been in a hurry to fix it because I don't drive at night often, and if I do I use a flashlight to check speed occasionally.

We've been told that we need to replace the headlight switch.

Every once in a while, the lights will come on for a quick moment, and it is always when I have fiddled with the headlight switch.

I have to agree with Heidi. It sound like you lost everything, which means you need to go back to the source...the headlight switch.

Ouch. Sounds like a job that requires the tearing up of dash. Have fun!

been there, am doing it, it's a real pain that you have to start at the emergency brake cover to get it all out,my switch is gone, but when i bypassed the switch , only a couple of bulbs worked, cleaned the contacts and got them all working.now when the switch goes in , it should all work.
anyone price a switch?gotta love those corvettes.
