Anyone familiar with this T-Top type replacement?

Anyone ever see this installed on a corvette? Are they any good?
I would love to have something in addition to my normal Hard T-tops.
Zip sells Glass replacements for $1000.... Anyone have experiance with this 1 piece T-top?

There was one on my vette when I bought it. The fit was good and
so was the look of it. The seal on mine was worn and this caused
wind noise at higher speeds. I replaced the top with a set of solid
ones. I would not suggest buying a second hand one (Ebay) unless
you can see it. Good luck!

I have had one since 99 and I love it, the only downside is storing it when its off, I have a CD Changer in the back so it just barely fits, your car has more room then mine so it should not be a problem.

Love mine on my 77,only problem ls the sun here ln Az. Tends to get awfully warm at times.

I am sold then..... The Price is right...they look great and in Vermont I will take all the added heat I can..
I love the look of the original hard Tops but I long for the ability to see the clouds above..
And at $1100 a set for Mirrored Glass outta Zip catalog, this seems the rerasonable alternative....

I am so used to the view of the stars that I forgot about that benefit
you won't regret it. get the storage bag also, they scratch easy.

Just bought one & had problems with the fit as one of the front bolt holes didn't line up with the car. I call their tech help desk & they suggested loosing the middle hold down's. This seems to have worked, although I have not yet taken it off as they suggest letting it stay in place for 14 days to allow the weather stripping to better fit the car.
I am not really that impressed with the latching mechanism. Screwing the bolts on & off takes time.
All that being said it looks OK & the price is right...hopefully it will be durable.

if you want glass tops, keep an eye on ebay. The pop up on there from time to time and go for 500 or so
