Verrrry impressive, mine is but a paltry out of the box Ikea version. Do you sense my envy?
A funny thing, I am collecting so many that I have to get another display case now!
I am kind of surprised more people haven't customized 1/18th scale as their own personal mini me.

I am still looking for a white or pearl white 1980 corvette model

I was telling the Franklin Mint rep at Auburn that they should start a custom shop so we could order a Corvette just like our own.

These things really are addictive cause you always seem to find one that you don't have.
CSCarlson, come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen an '80 diecast. I hope I am wrong. That could be the ultimate mod.
Ken, is that a Grand Sport I see tucked in the back? It is incredible what they are selling for now. :eek

Shay (WickedInBlack) says they are rare, and mine is signed. ;)

Got to love those Grand Sports!:cool
I like the 1:18 scale models too, but I also like the 1:43 scale they're so tiny.:) When the model company can get something that small right it's GREAT! I have an 82 Collector in 1:43 that is really BEAUTIFUL!:w
