This is as close as you will probably be able to come online, but it probably won't help much troubleshooting.

Chiltons Online

You will probably need to read the codes from the car computer to find a place to start looking for the problem. Look in the Tech Center Knowledgebase for ECM Codes. If you can't get any codes, then replacing the ECM may be your starting point.

My 87 Coupe had a similar problem. Everything was OK except I did not have pulse in my injectors. First thing I did was replace the fuel pump relay just to be sure that is was not cutting out. Still the same problem. Then I replaced the ECM. Still no pulse. Then I checked all the fusible links behind the battery, cleaned the connectors and tightened them. Still no pulse. Then I found a red wire that ran from the battery to the threaded post where all the fusible links connect behind the battery. That red wire was LOOSE in the terminal that connected it to the battery. I replaced the terminal and VOILA, I had pulse and the engine started without a miss. Check that. Sometimes one can overlook a simple wire and that causes your problem. Good luck.
