Default side mounted rear vision mirrors?

howdy

I recenlty received a replacement for my rear vision mirror on the drivers side. I was wondering, do I have to remove the interior door panel in order to screw it in? Or is there a fixed thingy in the door that allows me to just do it in a few mins?

And, I want to install a mirror on the passenger side, is it possible to get a clip/attach on mirror or something? I don't really want to put any holes into my door panels.

Cheers,
Nik.

The should be a single screw that will remove the mirror from it mounting bracket. The bracket mounts to the door with two screws. Then the mirror mounts to the bracket with a single screw.

To mount a passanger side mirror you will have to drill the door. No other way.

I installed the passenger side mirror a couple months ago and I bought an installation kit that came with a template , bracket , rubber mount wellnuts and instructions. It was a little nervey taking a drill to your corvette door but it worked good without removing the interior door panel.
