Default Brake Question

When I picked up my vette the brakes hade just been done, but know the squeek like mad. I don't think they used and shims or anti squeel liquid.

My question is regarding the top self-locking caliper bolt, they say to replace this after it has been used.

All I want to do is put some shims in and put them pack together.

Is it OK to use this bolt or am I going to have to buy another one.

Mart

thanks 6speeder, I was planning on using shims on the back of the pads.

Just wanted to make sure it was OK to use the bolt again.

Why do they say not to use it again?

Man CAC is the best.

Thanks 6speeder I have never heard of this happening but it sounds good to me, and squeeky brakes suck.

Thanks a million
Mart
