Default Red White & Blue PICS!!

Well, I went ahead and put on the blue hashmarks. What do you guys think? Good combo or too much?
All I need now are the fender flares and then its on to the engine mods...

Red, white and blue. Looks cool to me.

What matters though, is that it looks cool to you!

I got some flak about the hash marks at work cause people thought I was just putting stripes wherever I wanted.

It sucks having to explain to everyone what the stripes are for and that no, they did not add horsepower.

Sure. As long as setting the camera to Auto and pressing the button are enough qualifications.

OK, lt1vert, don't hate me...

With the color of the interior, I would choose to keep the car all white on the exterior. If a GS stripe is insisted upon, I would do a red car with a white GS stripe. I prefer a light stripe/dark body over the reverse. And, because of that preference, adding the blue hash marks does make it too "noisy" for my taste. Now, if the car were red with a white GS stripe and _white_ hash marks were used, it would rest easier on my eyes.

Well, all you asked for was opinion and that's mine. I hope you're not angered by it. I know how sensitive one can get with a vette! The car, of course, is a beaut, and I love the bloody interior. In fact, the only body color I even like with the red interior is white. I would accept a red body (similar shade of red) but, believe it or not, *only* with a pronounced white accent like a GS stripe.

I thought about getting two red stripes on both sides of the car but that would've doubled my cost.

So I said just put one red one in the middle.

I liked it before the hash marks best... the reason being is the focus of the car moves to the hash marks instead of the car as a whole... because the hash marks is the only blue on the car.... With or without, you have one Bad A$$ 'vette... just keep it the way you like it!
