color of my 1980 c3

Hi guys, I'm from Italy,and I have a question.
Could you tell me the code of the blu navy color of c3 in 1979 and 1980.
I have to color my vette but it's difficult for me to find the right color.

Was yours originally navy blue? If so, there should be a trim code on the frame at the front of the door jamb. In our model center (blue tab, Learning Center, at the top of the page) we should have the codes listed.

Check your trim tab to confirm what yours is. For 79 they had Corvette Dark Blue, code 83. For 80 it was just Dark Blue, Code 28.

On my corvette black book the color for 1980 is dark blu, when I bought the car in 1992 in Daytona Florida it was already pearl white, but somewhere internally I see a blu color.
Now I don't know exactly what code is it.
On the book the '79 is n.83 the '80 is 28 but is the same color or not???? and is it similar to blu navy???
last question: the code is a PPG code or what else??
