My Corvette(s):
The mythical 1990 ZR-1
Default Encouragement to Dave Hill and His Staff

I received the following email last night via our Contact Form here on the site:

Quote:
Purchased a 2003 electron blue Z06 in April. I've owned Ferrari (1972 365 GTS N.A.R.T.), Lotus Europa, and took delivery of my 2004 Porsche C4 two weeks ago, plus many other exotics and "muscle machines." The Corvette is a superior overall performer and "daily driver." Let's encourage Dave Hill and his staff to continue emphasizing performance and related technology. Thanks to GM and Corvette for the "driving experience."

My Corvette(s):
1999 White Coupe
Default

Rob,

Please post my experience:

My special ordered 1999 C5 coupe's build and delivery was delayed by the UAW work stoppage. This was my third Corvette and I have also owned other Chevrolet "muscle cars". During the C5's first 20,094 carefully driven miles, 18 separate defects surfaced. During the new car warranty period, the C5 broke down three separate times while I was driving out-of-state, on vacation. It was recalled for a safety defect and was the subject of a "satisfaction campaign". I wish Dave Hill and his staff would have emphasized quality and reliability when my C5 was built.
