Default adding power to passenger side seat

I am thinking about adding a power sport seat to my non power passenger side in my 99 c5. I was told to look under the carpet to see if there were wires. Close to the front and on the side closest to the center tunnel there is a squared bulge in the carpet. Under that there is what looks like a water proof connector, but there is no power to it. Is that it or something else?

Thanks,

Default previous thread

There was a previous thread in this forum concerning that very thing. C4C5 specialist described what needs to be done. It sounds like it is quite a project.

Thanks Drth for the links, but the last link was me talking to c4c5. I found a connector under the passenger seat, but it didn't look like the diagram that he sent me. It looked like a waterproof connector. It had a rubber seal around it and it would have pushed into another female type connector to seal up. I tryed a test light on it, and none of the pins had any power with key on or off. Just wondering what it was and if it would help out.

Thanks,
Jamie
