"European" Lamps are about 25 - 50 % brighter than the std ones. 21 watts. Easy to install. Pass it along.

I think the stock ones are 12 - 14 watts, so these are not a huge difference, but it is noticable.

These go in the "turning lamps".

thanks froggy........This change reminds me of my Trans-am GTA.In those days(1987) I was kicking Mustangs all around town and I was fed up of dealing with the stock ones.I wanted something to distinguishe my car from the stock ones without ruining the stock look.I asked a buddy of mine to try to look into the possibility of finding a manufacturer who could build brighter or different coloured "positioning lights".He never got back to me.In the late 90's much to my disbelief,doesn't everyone around town go driving around with "coloured" headlights!!!....maybe he stole my idea??If he did let me say that he made a bundle of cash!!!!

GE makes the same lights (same part number 7506 p21w).They are clear bulbs.The packaging says "import vehicles".There might be a difference though because the contacts have 2 different versions.One comes with one contact,and another comes with 2 contacts at the bottom of the bulb.

The ones for the turning lights (if that's the correct nomenclature) are single filament/single contact (on the bottom).

The dual filament/dual contact are for like tail lamp/brake light on the same bulb.

I just had the Vette out tonight & it makes a nice difference.

Did my first burnout tonight, last one out of the gym & empty lot. 3000 rpm & fast clutch out, pretty cool, I eased off the throttle after 20 or 30 feet, coulda gone more. Tires $$$.

I picked up some Silverstars tonight too, next project - Sunday.

I don't claim to be an "expert" in wiring, but, I don't see why not. The bulb only stays on for a little while (when the turn signal is blinking) and the increase in wattage is minimal (but noticable).

The "rule of thumb" is that wiring & switches & relays are engineered to handle 2x the standard amps. So no problem there. The only gotcha would be the fuse. I did not change mine but if it blew I'd go up (like 10 amp to 12.5 or so).

If anyone has some advice to add - jump in!
