WANTED-Dead or Alive "461" heads

I'm looking for a pair of heads for my 350 hp engine. Looking for a build date before March 17 1965. But will be interested in what you have. Bare prefered...Broken no problem...

They were used on all Chevrolet 300hp motors and up from 1962 thru 1965. 2.02 valves can be installed on lower horsepower 1.94 units. Tracy Performance in Michigan has many hard Chevy engine parts. And check Hemmings Motor news

Expect to pay $150 each and up to $300 each for a restored head.......maybe more.

I have a set of 462 heads but I am not sure of the date code as they are over at a friends house. I can check with him and get back with you if you are interested. They are in good shape.

Well I guess I didn't do to bad on the set of 461 heads I just picked up with 2.00 valves 400 at the Charlotte show completely redone. If you want a set of of 462 probably 1.94's I'll have them off the car soon the dates on them are I believe to be G or H of 65. Let me know I know you're looking for the 461's so I don't know if the 462's will help... Dave...

It's Oct 10 2003 and there is a set of 461 heads for bid on ebay from a reputable fellow I bought my 61 project from. Good luck :)

Bought them on E-Bay for $127.50 pair.

Now the fun begins...swapping motor again...
