My Corvette(s):
Default 79 Turn signal lever change

I need to change the turn signal lever on my 79. Is this a pretty straight forward job, or am I getting into trouble??

The turn signal lever on my '77 is held in with a pin at the end of the lever that goes into the column. I was unable to access the pin to remove the lever without disasembling the column down to that point.

The turn signal lever has been held in place with epoxy for the last 2 years, and has once again come loose. It seems time to replace it. It does not look like there were any threads on it previously, and there is no pin. Has anyopne every tried to change the lever without a major problem?? Thanks for the previous answers, but it looks like they dont apply for the 79.
