ticking full roller rockers

i can hear ticking from the rockers when i open the hood, not real loud but you can hear it, is this normal

Full rollers are noisier than regular rockers. As long as it is a "tick" & not a "clacking" noise, you are OK. I have a set of Crane gold race 1.6's on my LT1 in my Formula & you can deffinantly hear them.

It should only depend on whether you have a hydraulic or solid lifter camshaft. Solids do make some minor noise as the clearances are not zero.

i have a hydraulic cam, one side does seem to be a bit louder, so i'll check that, should they still make the ticking noice with these cams
