“BUILD YOUR OWN CORVETTE” RAFFLE BEGINS

For the first-time ever, an NCM raffle is underway that offers the winner an opportunity to “Build Your Own Corvette!” Limited to only 500 tickets at $250 each, the raffle features the chance to choose a 2004 convertible, coupe or Z06 (excluding the Z15 and Z16 options) and choice of 2004 production colors, wheels, interior and options. Winner’s build selections must follow GM ordering guidelines. A winner will be drawn on Friday, December 5 at 12:00 noon C.T. CORVETTE MAINTAINS ALMS CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD AFTER LEGUNA SECA

The General Motors Chevrolet Corvette Racing team maintained its position on top of the American Le Mans Series Championship after a podium finish in the Monterey Sports Car Championships. Ron Fellows and Johnny O’Connell, driving the #3 Compuware Corvette C5-R, finished second in the GTS class, eighth overall, after two hours and 45 minutes of racing at Laguna Seca. Oliver Gavin and Kelly Collins, in the sister #4 Compuware Corvette C5-R, finished third in class, ninth overall. The podium result maintains Corvette’s position at the top of the manufacturer, team and driver championships in the GTS class of the ALMS for 2003. The Corvette Racing team will take to the track again in three week’s time, for Round 8 of the American Le Mans Series in Miami, Florida. Visit the Corvette Racing site for more information at:

Chevy leads the industry again! In August, Chevrolet was the #1 selling brand in the U.S. market for the second consecutive month. Chevy led the industry in market share with 16.1 percent of industry vehicle deliveries, up 1 point from a year ago. Chevrolet’s total car and truck sales were up 6 percent in August.
