My Corvette(s):
2001 Torch Red Coupe
Default What year is this beauty?

I spied this beautiful corvette and pulled right into the parking lot to get a closer look...It was PERFECT. It had a license plate frame that read: "Real Women Drive Vettes"

I love this car!

It looks to me like it is a 1982 judging bt the side vents, and spoilers. The 81-82 are really nice looking Vettes! Almost the perfection of the C3 generation.

Welcome to CAC!

Default Welcome To The CAC

An '82 would have Cross Fire Injection emblems above those side vents. '80-'81 didn't. '80 had chrome cross flags on the nose and tail and '81s were black. That's about it for outside differences on the '80-'82s. She's a beauty though. My wife has HER AT1 on the license plate so maybe there is something to that statement.

I am not kidding it was flawless. I have never seen that style in that color looking that perfect ever, and I live in California. Lots of 'vette owners here with this perfect weather.

So a member here owns that car? Excellent! (or were you kidding)

I'm so impressed with that body style. Congratulations to those of you who own them.

Mine was white w/red interior- I loved the car but couldn't afford to keep it while I was going to school. My dad still has his '76, so it's nice to know there's still a C3 in the family.

Lannelle is a member here as well as at the L81VetteRegistry Old Photo, before new Paint job

We haven't updated the members rides at the Registry, as we are looking for a better format to display our cars. Hopefully when I retire next year I can learn enough about websites to take over the site and maintain it myself

Believe me, you'll forget all about that '81 once that '59's done & your cruisin'. If I could have a '59 over an '81, trust me, I'd take the '59 in a "New York Minute" Good luck on your project & I hope the best for you.

Peace! Dave
