how to track history

I've been trying to track the history of ownership and the origanal dealer ect.. of my 65. What has worked best for any of you and how did you do it. Thanks Roland.

Who did you buy it from?If a dealer , see if he will give you any info.

private detectives can trace it. DMV in many states for a fee can go back in time, but with today's privacy laws it is getting harder.

Police agencies can definately go back, but they have to have a real reason, like a felony investigation.
