My Corvette(s):
Default GenIV - 3V and one cam??

Compare and contrast the single and twin cam configurations:

TWIN CAM

SINGLE CAM

They both look like direct injection engines to me ( the injectors are the
things next to the spark plug). I'll bet the goal was to
have an identical combustion chamber with identical valve angles.
The only diference is the machinery to actuate the valves but
not anything about the valves themselves. Could the intake and/or
exhaust ports be kept identical?
