Default '77 side window adjustment

Anyone know how to adjust the side windows on a '77 so that they mate to the weatherstripping better? Mine has a gap between the glass and the rear window weatherstrip. There is no gap at the bottom, but increases toward the top. Glass needs to be adjusted so that it inclines inward more.

The assembly manual for our cars has a very good explanation on how to adjust the windows. If you don't already have the book that and the NCRS manual should be your next purchases. Even if you don't plan on rebuilding your car to new condition those books tell you how and what is supposed to be there.

Your windows adjust by a lot of bolts that are underneath your door panel. Take the panel off and loosen all the 7/16's bolts. Shut the door and put the window so it's about 1/2" from the top and place it where you want it. It will move. Once you have the gap right tighten the bolts. Some folks have good luck by closing the door and putting the window all the way up. Either way if you are careful you won't hurt anything it just takes a little time.

The instructions are fairly straight forward you just need to keep at it.
