Default window rattles

Rattles drive me crazy!! When my windows are down and I hit bumps the windows rattle and seem loose but work fine. Will replacing front window runs improve this? They are original and the felt is worn?

I'm replacing door panels so I'll be in there anyway!!

Above suggestions are great. Also check the plastic rollers that ride in the steel channels. If they crack off, the window falls in the door.

Just did the entire windows. If you replace the channels I would also suggest remove the window from the roller track and retaping the window to the channel of the track. Over time the tape brakes down and the window will float when put up or taken down. Eventually the window gets stuck on channel and falls of track. Agree with previous post about the rollers cracking, and make sure you get the correct window channeling, Long Island Corvette has the best I have seen.

Good Luck, its a real PIA to get in there and do all the work in a small area.

Regards,
