TODAY IS THE DAY...pick up my 63 from shop....
I am so excited I pick my 63 up today
Its been at the shop since MAY...going through restoration for the motor and part of the interior. I drove it last night....OH MY GOD!!!! what a difference since I picked it up in May
It is EXTREMELY POWERFUL especially in first three gears.....I am really impressed..the only downer, goes back next week for some more work.
Have to reinstall the overflow tank, previous owners installed it wrong making it impossible to use a vintage battery. Have to redo the passengers vent window, weld broke on the hinge. Then new carpenting and interior molding will be redone. Then finally off to body shop to get a few flaws on the exterior fixed and it will be done in time for winter storage
But there is next year. I will post photos next week......I AM SO EXCITED...
It will be at the American Iron show in Manassas at Old Dominon Speedway this Saturday.....come down and vote for me......would love to win a trophey first time out.....I will tell you guys all about it...
