63 Gas Cover question

Does anyone know what the 63 gas cover should look like?
My father has a 63 convertible 327, and we are not sure if the current one is the correct one.

The manuals/books we have say that it changed every year on the C2's, but they conflict on which one the 63 had. In one of our judging handbooks, it shows a "correct" '63 gas cover with "1963" written on it, but our other restoration books show a plain one (with just the flags) for the 63 model.

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Depending on when the car was manufactured in 1963 (early or late) will dictate which gas lid is the correct one. There were two different ones for 1963. I am not sure which month was the change month for Early or Late.
