Default Source or Manual To service Parking Brake system on a 1973 Coupe

Looking for a manual with good information on servicing the Parking Brake System on a 1973 Coupe. The car has been sitting for many years in my garage prior to parking it back in 1985 I rebuilt the engine, had the 4 speed trans rebuilt, new clutch, pressure plate, rear axle serviced, front suspension replaced, steering control valve, brakes, headlight header bar and associated parts, some interior and emblems and fresh paint after stripping the car. The fuel pump started leaking and replaced it and now it appears the parking park is stuck engaged. Thought it might be time to dust it off and correct some of these issues.

Any sources of good information on the parking brake system and what is the best way to service this would be helpful. It has been sometime since I wrenched on cars but after replacing the fuel pump I thought it might be time to do the parking brake system by replacing it maybe the new stainless steel parts that now are available. What can any here tell me about updating & servicing this?

Thanks for your input...
