Hi.. I am a new member and I bought an 81 two tone, silver and blue from a dealer for $17,000 It has 16,000 original miles and is all original, power everything etc... The car is totally mint, it has a small blemish on the drivers door by the handle. The car is like new underneath and the interior is flawless. The car drives like a new car and looks like a new one as well. I have original build sheet and owners manual. Was thinking of selling it for a later model vett but not sure. Can I get more money for this car or would I be lucky to get my money back????? Thanks and I love this forum....

I recently registered my 81 in Kentucky for the first time and had a chance to become all to familar with the NADA book values. The low retail is listed at $7,500.......average retail $17,500....high retail $21,900. It sounds like you have a very nice low milage car, IMHO I think that you will do well to recover your investment.
