Default Black Goo around door frames

What is that black sticky goo around the door frames on the new Corvettes? I'm assuming it's from the weatherstripping. Anyway, I have some remnants left. What is the best cleaner to get it off without harming the paint?

Thanks in advance,
G Man

Im not for sure with out looking at it but its probably butyl. Its like a seam sealer but it never really dries. You can clean small amounts of it with goo gone but be sure to wax the area afterwards.
