Default Did I get ripped off???

I brought an air cleaner cover from Volunteer Vette products for $58.00. Yesterday I received an Eckler's catalog and if appears they have the same cover for $16.00. Hugh price difference. I know "let the buyer beware". Has anyone else notice such a big price difference between large suppliers?

Owning my own business... I might be a little biased... but

if the air cleaner covers are exactly the same, I dont understand how Volunteer Vette products stays in business.

It is already pretty tough to compete with the big powerhouse distributors.
But a $42 difference is quite substantial.
I went to their website and I could not find any information on returns.
You should contact them (phone is best) and explain the situation.
If it is the same product maybe you can get a price match.
If it is a different product maybe they can explain the difference.

If they claim it is the same product and refuse to extend a price match then you are in a strong position.
If you were to tell them that you would never do business with them again... and you would tell everyone here about their business ETHICS...
I would wager that the $42 they made off of you is not worth the potential $$$ they could make from referrals.

In business... its hard enough to earn the customer.
Its even harder to keep them.

Let us know what happens
