Default Carpet Cleaning!

Hi
What do you recommend to clean a 96 lt beige carpet?

It is not really filthy but could use a little help.

Thanks

Alan

p.s. Not looking for something harsh!

Would you use this on all carpets? Because I think my '78 could use a little help too.

I've mixed up a 1/4 oz. of Maguiars car wash soap with water in a 32 oz. spray bottle. Works good for surface dirt and stains.

Listen, speaking of Meguiar's (sp?), I can't decide of whether I should go with them or Zaino products for my care of the Vette. What do you prefer/suggest?

The best thing I've found is Oxy Clean spray cleaner. It did wonders on my carpets. You can either buy it premixed, or get a spray bottle and mix your own from the powder. Here is a before picture:

I know the previous owner was a hog, I couldn't do anything about the wear mark either. To be replaced at a future date. Here is the after:

Both the pre-mixed and the powder, I picked up at good old Walmart. It is in the carpet cleaner/laundry detergent aisles. I used the premixed first but it was $4 something a bottle, the powder was only at little more, but makes several gallons of mix.
