Aftermarket alarms

Has anybody put an aftermarket alarm in one of these? if so, what type and did it work well with the factory setup? Thanks!

C5? Then I don't know. ;)

C4? I installed a Raptor alarm system in my '87. The factory alarm system works fine along with the Raptor, if you choose to have both.
